We spent our first day back in the US with my Dad and Anna. It just so happend that Anna's family was having a get together for one of her nephew's birthdays. It was a nice surprise because we hadn't seen her family in a while and they hadn't even met Lydia. The kids had a great time playing with all of Anna's great nieces and nephews and in the pool.
The next day was the 4th of July. James' sister, Julie, was having a party for the 4th/ 3rd birthday party for our nephew, Trae. James' whole family was there (minus James) and they had a magician/ balloon guy, lots of kids to play with, sparklers, and a fantastic fireworks display designed by James' brother-in-law, David. My Dad and Anna were able to come this year which was nice because we got to spend more time with them and they helped me with the kids. Once again, a great time!
