On the last morning of our trip, in Rio Verde, San Luis Potosi, we visited Media Luna. We didn't really know what we were supposed to be looking for and ended up spending all of our time where we weren't meant to be. Media Luna is a lake which is 36 meters deep and has a blue tone and is very clear...you can see up to 30 feet deep. It is naturally 27-30 degrees celcius all year long and has 6 rivers that come off of it. One of these rivers is where we hung out and only found the lake at the end of our visit (I didn't even get a picture!). I really wish we had been able to swim in the "lagoon."
The rivers go throughout the whole park. Apparently it's a big area to camp at.
