Cancun

We had a 26 minute flight from Fort Meyers to Miami and then boarded the plane to Cancun. We were sitting on the runway, ready to take off, and it got really hot in the cabin. The pilot came on the speaker and said that they were having trouble controlling the temperature in the cabin, so we had to go back to the gate and get it checked out. After almost two hours on the plane, we had to deboard and get on another plane. We got to Cancun over 3 hours late and one of our suitcases (with all the boys' clothes in it) did not show up. We ended up getting the suitcase the next day, but half of the boys' clothes were missing. Not the end of the world, but annoying since I had to wash clothes in the sink all week.

We arrived at the hotel for a late dinner and put the kids to bed. We were not impressed with the hotel rooms, but the hotel grounds and amenities were very nice and we took advantage of a lot! We had seen Christy and Mike the night we got there, but the kids were already sleeping, so they were SO excited to see each other the next morning!
