5 de Mayo

I don't think it was really on purpose because Cinco de Mayo really is not a big deal here, but our friend, Josee, planned a girl's night for that night. It's so nice to get a night out and a chance to chat and catch up with the ladies! Especially being so far away from family and longtime friends, we really rely on each other for everything! Not everyone could make it, of course, but we had a great time. Two of my close friends are moving away this summer, which I'm now realizing is a big negative of being an expat! I hate saying goodbye!

Julia, Josee, Kelly, Kim, Sarah, Lolis, Tara, Angela, and me
