Dad and Anna's first day in Mexico

My Dad and Anna came to Queretaro for the first time in the middle of November. It was actually Anna's first time to Mexico, period. They only came for a week, so we had to get busy sightseeing the first day they were here. I knew they would like San Miguel (de Allende), so that was at the top of the list. We ate a nice breakfast, walked around the main square, and then headed to the Mercado to shop for local crafts. It's hard to get a true feeling for San Miguel the first time you go, but I think they really enjoyed themselves. We would have like to have stayed longer, but we had to get back to get the boys. We ate comida at the school and then Ethan showed them around.

I'm there, but, this day, there was nothing, so we

got to walk around the inside. It was beautiful!

Since we will not see Pap and Nana closer to Christmas this year, we had our Christmas on their visit. The kids were so excited to receive their first Christmas presents of the year. Lydia got a Bitty Baby doll that she loved and the boys got the big Lego Pirate ship and a giftcard to Gamestop to spend when we're back in the States in December. Nolan talked about that pirate ship the entire weekend until James finally built it for him when we got back from Oaxaca (4 days later).
