Puebla - Africam Safari

One city that I've only been through, but have really wanted to visit is Puebla.  Puebla is the fourth largest city in Mexico and is known for it's Talavera pottery production.  Ethan has been in an activity after school called Destination Imagination and they had a tournament in Puebla.  Perfect time to plan a visit!!  We took the kids out of school on Friday to go to the Africam Safari outside of Puebla with another family from school.  It was really impressive and the kids enjoyed every minute of seeing the animals from the car!  We felt so close to many of the animals!

Iztaccihuatl - the third highest mountain in Mexico.  It has the lowest peak in
Mexico that contains permanent snow and glaciers.  It's crazy when it's 80
degrees and you're looking at a mountain with snow on it! It was breathtaking.

The kiddos wondering what's coming up next!

The animals were not afraid of being hit by the cars!

The white tigers were my favorite!

This baby chimpanzee was so fun to watch!

It was a pretty hazy day, so this is the best picture I have of the volcano
outside of Puebla - Popocatepetl.  It constantly has smoke coming out of it
and is the second highest peak in Mexico
