Nolan's K3 Open Class

Another morning at the school for James and me!  I didn't realize how much more I'd be at the school when Lydia started going to JFK, but the begining of the year has been one thing after another.  Open classes are definitely one of my favorite things to do at the school though.  I love to see their morning routine and how they interact with their classmates and then we get to "play" in PE. 

Nolan seemed to be more into the morning routine this year and we had a lot of fun in PE (no crying like in past years!).  Although he's still having some academic and attention issues, Nolan is much happier this year at school.  He rarely cries about going and often seems excited on Sunday night when he has school the next day.  Speaking of the academic and attention issues...we are taking him to a specialist for an evaluation.  We are hoping that she will be able to give us and the teachers tools to use to help Nolan focus and excel in school.  I will update when we know anything.
