Newcomer's planned a trip to Taxco a couple of weeks ago. Taxco is a beautiful city about 6 hours away from Queretaro and is known for silver. Everywhere you turn there's a store selling silver. We had 84 people in our group so we had to take two buses! It was a great turnout and Catherine and Lynda did a wonderful job planning!

The trip there was a little longer than expected, but
the kids had a great time playing with each other and
watching movies until they finally fell asleep.

We got into the hotel at about 12:30 AM and the
kids had all been sleeping, so they were a
little groggy when we arrived.

group had the entire hotel to ourselves since we booked all of their rooms!

All of our kids ordered spaghetti for breakfast (we were on
vacation and it's not like they wanted a cake!). Nolan
eating spaghetti entertained us all. He's using his hands,
he's dropping it all done the front of himself....a true disaster!

The downfall to Taxco was the lack of sidewalks. It was very hard to corral the kids at times and they didn't want to be shopping anyway, so the dads and the kids went back and hung out in the lobby of the hotel while the moms went shopping. The kids had a blast playing all over the hotel while the dads drank beer and kept up with the Michigan State/ Michigan football game.
