Lydia's First Open Class at JFK

Last week Lydia had her first open class at the "big school."  I love the open class days because you get to see what goes on inside the classroom and then play some games with in gym class with the kids.  Interestingly enough, Lydia's teacher told me the week before the open class that Lydia doesn't participate much in the classroom and doesn't say much.  I was very surprised by this because she's always been a lot like Ethan and pretty outgoing.  Well, during the open class, she had no problems with participation and Miss Mary Beny was very happy.  They showed us the calendar, family, the apple poem, weather, and feelings.

They had to get the ball across the grass without using their hands

And then without Lydia's feet!

Singing the days of the week...listen for Lydia's voice after the teacher says "louder."
