I had another great birthday this year! James took the day off of work, so we celebrated with the kids in the morning (my favorite cake for breakfast!). They all made me a card and James gave me a very nice card and a beautiful pandora bracelet. James and I went to work out, out to lunch, and shopping in downtown Kalamazoo. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we had a such a nice time walking downtown without freezing our butts off!! That night we celebrated with friends.
Michelle's birthday is February 20th, Jen's is March 6th, and mine is March 8th, so we decided to have the husbands plan a night out for us to celebrate together. We started at sushiya (including saki bombs) and then most of us headed to Monaco Bay (the dueling piano bar) and Wild Bull. It was another great night with neighbors and friends! We are so lucky to have met such fun people yet again!!
The traditional picture of the sushi boat...it never gets old!
We had a private room at Sushiya.

Monaco Bay wasn't very crowded since we were there early and Western was on spring break, so it was kind of nice. They were playing some good music and we were out on the dance floor a lot! At one point they had all the birthday girls get up on the stage and play an R version of head, shoulders, knees, and toes...
From Monaco Bay we headed to Wild Bull. Michelle really wanted to ride the bull, so I said I would ride it with her. We actually rode it at the same time the first time which was a lot harder than by yourself! We each rode it a couple more times by ourself and then we all called it a night.
