Guelaguetza

Oaxaca is known for it's famous festival in July, the Guelaguetza. Groups from the seven regions around Oaxaca get together to present their dances that have local characteristics and regional dress. To symbolize their commitment to sharing, they toss local gifts into the crowd. A restaurant in Queretaro decided to bring the Guelaguetza here and had the traditional food, drinks, and dances. It was interesting the see and the food was good, but it went on just a little too long for me!

This was supposed to be a picture of me by myself,

but Lars had to get into it. James stayed home with

the kids and watched football. I'm glad he didn't

come because he would not have enjoyed it at all!

Mezcal! I still have trouble getting that stuff down!
