The Newcomer’s Kid’s Christmas Party was, once again, a
great success. We got pizzas from
Costco, had lots of riding toys and crafts, cookies to decorate, and Santa even
showed up for a story and to pass out presents!
When Santa arrived, Lydia wasn’t too sure. She stood up, backed away, and went to find
James. Not necessarily crying, but you
could see on her face that she was worried.
She eventually warmed up. Nolan
was hilarious yelling things out and when Santa said he was going to pass out
presents to everyone, Nolan said, “My name is Nolan” (just in case he forgot). Nolan was almost the last one to get his
present and you should have seen his face.
With every present that wasn’t his he would cross his arms and look at
Santa in disbelief. All of the kids got
books so it was somewhat even. Ethan,
Nolan, and Lydia were very happy with the books “Santa” had chosen.
