The day before Christmas Eve, our family headed to Detroit to James' Mom and Dad's house. James' sister, Julie, was there with her family and the kids had a great time with their cousins. We got the kids' picture taken, went to an indoor playscape, and, finally, had our traditional Christmas Eve with James' mom's side of the family. James' Grandparents, Aunt and Uncle, and a few cousins with their families came to catch up, exchange gifts for the kids, and eat yummy Polish food!

Before we went to go home on Christmas Eve, the kids opened their presents from Uncle Mike and Lauren (since they wouldn't be joining us on Christmas Day) and their pajamas from us. Normally, they would have opened their ornaments too, but we had a little problem with Ethan's ornament and didn't have it yet. They got in their pajamas for the 2 hour drive home. When we got home, the boys put milk and cookies out for Santa and went to bed.
