Since we travel for Thanksgiving, we always put up the tree and decorate the house the weekend before Thanksgiving. Ethan was not going to let us get away with anything less than that this year. I think he started bugging us about putting the Christmas decorations up the day after Halloween! The kids loved getting the train out for around the tree and putting the ornaments on. All Lydia wanted to do was put the ornaments back into the box! Then she wouldn't leave them alone once they were on the tree. The joy of having kids with a Christmas tree in the house! At least Nolan didn't fall asleep during the decorating this year.
