Nolan had lots of fun in first grade! At the end of the year, he went to the dairy farm (and got to feed a calf!), made ice cream in a ziplock bag, and participated in reader's theater. He, unfortunately for me, was the star of the show at the reader's theater. Each of the kids have parts in a few small plays where they read from a script. Well, every time Nolan was done with his part he would put the script between his legs and hold up both hands in peace signs with a huge smile on his face. All of the parents thought it was funny, so Nolan kept doing it. He totally looked like a politician and I'm sure I was bright red!
