The tradition continues! Six adults and 10 kids at our place for New Year's Eve. Because of Michigan State playing on New Year's Day (in the Rose Bowl!) and the Houle's traveling from Texas this year, we really could only get a sitter and go out on New Year's Eve. Thank goodness for Jori who was willing to babysit for us! We had dinner at Epic Bistro in downtown Kalamazoo and then headed over to the Skwiat's house for a couple of drinks. We were home before midnight to celebrate the new year with the kids that were still up.
New Year's Day was the big game! Michigan State played Stanford in the Rose Bowl. It was not looking promising in the beginning, but they turned it around and became Rose Bowl Champions!! What an exciting game and great way to start out 2014!
