Christmas Eve Traditions

As I write on the blog every year, there are a few traditions we have for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning that we've been able to keep up (no matter what house, city, state, or country we live in!).

The kids each get an ornament that represents an interest from the past year and Christmas-themed pajamas that they get to open on Christmas Eve.  This year Ethan got a Captain Underpants ornament (he was obsessed with the book series), Nolan got a Star Wars Legos ornament, and Lydia got a Tinkerbell ornament.  They are always so excited to open their two gifts.  They also got to open their gift from Uncle Mike and Aunt Lauren since Lauren wasn't sure she would be able to come over on Christmas Day.

Gifts from Uncle Mike and Aunt Lauren...remote control cars!

I thought this stuff was going to get easier!

At least I got a decent one of Ethan and Lydia

...and Nolan

And, finally, the treats for Santa and the reindeer
