We had a great New Year's Eve. Our friends Kelly and Todd and Kevin and Michelle and their families came in for the night. They each have 3 kids, so we had 9 kids and 6 adults in our house for over 24 hours! It went really well and the kids were all in bed by 9:00, so the adults were able to party! We just had fun catching up and playing games. Things got a little crazy after midnight, but we were all in bed by 1:30....the latest we've been up in ages. The kids were still up at 7:00, so the fun was quickly over.

James and Michelle decided to make snow angels to bring in the new year. Michelle even went down our slide!
James got up with the kids and made breakfast on New Year's Day, so I got to sleep in. We spent the day watching football (unfortunately Michigan State lost) and the kids played hockey, Wii, and made a mess of the basement. We had an early prime rib dinner (thanks Len and Sharon!) that was very yummy and then Kevin and Michelle and their girls were headed home. Kelly, Todd, James, and I got 2 sitters for our 6 kids and headed out for some peace and quiet!
