Lydia clapping, Nolan talking

I know you're probably all sick of hearing about Lydia's milestones, but this was so cute, I just had to post it. Yes, Lydia is clapping. We think it started because we've been trying to teach her "more" in sign language....clapping works too. Or maybe it's from watching American Idol. Unfortunately she claps like Paula Abdul...somehow it's a lot cuter when a baby does it!

As many of you know, Nolan has had a speech therapist coming to the house since he was about 18 months old (with some breaks for the move and summer). Over the past month he has improved so much. He is pretty much saying everything now and talking in full sentences. We can understand most of what he says, but it's still not completely clear. His most common words are: dan chu (thank you), otay (okay), mil peas (milk please), ga-e (got it), e-tan (Ethan), sissy, and wor worl peas (word world please). Yesterday, at a friend's house he said, "come on evebody." He's doing so good! Once he's communicating better, we'll have to start working on potty training....yuck!

I LOVE all the cute, new milestones! That's great that Nolan is doing so well too. :)
