Back to Mexico!!

At the beginning of February, James and I traveled (without kids!) back to Queretaro to see friends.  Our flights weren't the best, but we were thankful we didn't have the kids.  Our flight out of Detroit was delayed a couple of hours, so we missed our connection.  We were automatically put on the next flight to Leon, which meant a longer layover in Houston.  Flight out of Houston was on time, but about an hour outside of Leon, the pilot got on the loudspeaker and told us that the Leon airport was temporarily closed, so we had to reroute because we didn't have enough gas to circle.  So, we were rerouted to San Luis Potosi for a couple of hours.  By the time it was all said and done, we arrived in Leon 6 hours after we were supposed to land!  Oh, and right when we got to the Detroit airport (at 5:30 in the morning), I slipped and fell on the moving walkway and put a hole in my favorite pair of leggings!  By the time we got to Missy's house, I had just enough time to shower and get ready for my girl's night while James went to poker.  Josee, Kelly, Me, Lolis, Missy, and Kim.  Some of my favorite ladies!:

The second day we were in Queretaro, James went out to lunch with people from the office and I had brunch with a few other ladies.  It was great to see everyone!  James and I had to have Tacos el Pata while we were there, so we went with Missy and Jason the night before we left for the beach.

The third day....off to the beach!!  We drove the 5 1/2 hours to Troncones with Mike, Missy and Jason, Jason's brother, and the Jackson family.  The Holley's, Conto's, and McCullough's arrived later that evening and the Lewis' and Josee and her kids got there mid morning on Saturday.  We had the whole place to ourselves and it was great catching up with everyone!!  We had a special visit on Sunday when Sarah and Lars stopped by for the evening (and the Super Bowl!).

What a nice welcome!
