Another good thing about being back in Michigan? FAMILY trips up to the Traverse City area to see our college friends, the Cioleks. The kids and I went up to Glen Arbor last summer, but James wasn't able to come. We all have a great time when we head up there for the weekend and this time the Houles were able to come up too! We haven't all been together (with our families) since New Year's Eve 2009 (a month before we moved to Mexico!). Fun times!

We hadn't been to Sleeping Bear Dunes in years. Unfortunately, it was super
hot, so all there was from our kids was complaining. |
