Lydia received lots of gift cards to American Girl for her birthday from all of the grandparents and mom and dad. We were flying out of Chicago for spring break, so Lydia and I rode the train in early and James and the boys drove in to meet us later. Lydia and I met Aunt Jessie at the train station and the three of us headed to American Girl for shopping and lunch. Lydia (and I!) loved the whole experience. They did everything so well at the lunch and Lydia finally got her American Girl doll, Isabelle. What a fun day that we'll always remember!
