We finally took our kids to a Michigan State Football game! We have been waiting until we thought they would enjoy it and thanks to some great friends who have season tickets, we were able to do it this year! On October 19th, we took the kids to the MSU vs. Purdue game. We went up early to tailgate with our friends. Luckily, they are veterans because it was pouring outside. We tailgated in the parking garage and it seemed like the rain would never stop! As soon as we prepared ourselves to walk to the stadium in the rain, it stopped. It barely rained the whole game. The kids had a great time (and so did we! I hadn't been to a game since I graduated in 2000.). MSU ended up winning by quite a bit. Little did we know that this would be one of the most successful seasons in Spartan football history! They ended up winning all of their Big Ten games (including annihilating University of Michigan!), only losing to Notre Dame the whole season, beating Ohio Sate in the Big Ten Championship game, and earning a trip to the Rose Bowl!! Can't wait to see what they do on January 1st!
