The last day we planned to go to the Grand Canyon. We had an all day tour set up to make the most of the trip, but, with three sick kids, we didn't feel like that was the best way to do it! James (and the kids of course) had never seen the Grand Canyon. He wasn't going to be less than three hours away and not go! So, we packed the kids in the car stocked with pillows, puke buckets, pull-ups, movies, and lots of wipes and made the trip. We were so fortunate that the rental car had a DVD player (how many times do you have that?!) and that the Easter Bunny had brought three new movies (that we watched over and over again!). The kids did amazingly well for feeling so crappy and it was more than worth the drive! The Grand Canyon is incredible! So many beautiful pictures, I couldn't narrow it down anymore!

| You can see the tip of Lydia's head in this picture...she refused to get off the bench! |

| Snow in the Grand Canyon! |
We got a tip about a trail with amazing views. It was about a 20 minute walk (without kids), so we made a deal with my Dad and Anna that we would go while they stayed with the kids and then we would swap. It was indescribable! If we ever get back to the Grand Canyon I would love to take a picnic and just sit for hours! There was barely anyone there and you could get right to edge. I am so glad we did it!
