Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a whirlwind of a day. We left Orlando that morning and flew to Detroit. We thought we would have plenty of time before the festivities began at James' parent's house, but, we were wrong. James had to go to the CVS minute-clinic and, by the time we left him there, we arrived the same time as the rest of the family. We were in our "plane" clothes, me in my glasses, greeting everyone (some of which we hadn't seen in a year!). I managed to get the kids and myself dressed and run back to CVS to get James before dinner. It was relaxing and catching up with family from there on out. There's never enough time to catch up with everyone when you see them once a year, but it was a fun night.
